This opportunity would suit an ambitious Structural Engineer with a focus on career progression, who enjoys working within a collaborative environment on exciting and varied projects across Scotland and the UK.RESPONSIBILITIESUndertake structural analysis and detailed design for building and infrastructure projects in accordance with relevant building regulations, design standards, codes of practice and health and safety standards.Design input associated with preparation of technical drawings, specifications and reports.Carry out site inspections and liaise with contractors during construction.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality engineering solutions.Support Senior Engineers and Mentor graduate Engineers.QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCEBachelor’s or Masters Degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringWorking towards Chartered status (MICE or MIStructE).Proven experience in structural design across a range of materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry).Strong knowledge of design software (eg.
