Role Overview:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer to join the team. This is a full-time, suited to a proactive engineer with strong technical skills and a collaborative approach. The successful candidate will be responsible for structural design and analysis, overseeing drawing production, and coordinating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake structural calculations and analysis across various materials including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
Produce and revise structural designs in line with relevant regulations and standards
Coordinate with the CAD team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of technical drawings
Liaise directly with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure coordinated project execution
Conduct site inspections and structural assessments when required
Ensure compliance with all applicable design codes, including British Standards and Eurocodes
Candidate Requirements:
Degree-qualified in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years experience.
Proficient in structural analysis and calculation methodologies
Experienced in using CAD software; familiarity with BIM workflows is advantageous
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communicator with the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Experience across a variety of project types and sectors is desirable
