Cabling Installation Engineer, Gatwick

Join our front-line installation team to work on both Business As Usual (BAU) and project-based tasks, delivering communication infrastructure solutions at customer sites. This role includes hands-on work such as cabling, network switch installation, and patching. Onsite training and a clear career development path will be provided based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Network cabinet installations Installation of primary and secondary containment systems Installation of fibre and Cat6/Cat6A horizontal cabling solutions Termination, testing, and labelling of fibre/Cat6/Cat6A solutions Network switch installation Copper and fibre patching

Requirements

Experience terminating copper/fibre cabling (Cat6/A) Experience of testing both fibre optic and copper cables using OTDR/ Fluke Testers Good knowledge of current installation practices Experience in the installation of containment systems (both Steel and PVC) Experience in running cables internally and externally Fibre splicing Focused and able to work within a team and independently. Good communication skills Qualifications

CNCI Certification or City & Guilds 3667 is a bonus PASMA Certification ECS / CSCS / EUSR Certification IPAF Certification
