This role demands a blend of technical expertise, operational awareness, and problem-solving under pressure—ideal for someone who thrives in challenging offshore environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and evaluate subsea systems including pipelines, manifolds, wellheads, and control modules
  • Support installation, commissioning, and intervention activities offshore and onshore
  • Conduct risk assessments, failure analysis, and integrity reviews of subsea assets
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including drilling, production, and marine operations
  • Interface with vendors and contractors to ensure equipment meets project specifications
  • Monitor and troubleshoot subsea control systems and hydraulic circuits
  • Prepare technical documentation, procedures, and reports for regulatory compliance
  • Ensure all work adheres to HSE standards and industry regulations (e.g., API, ISO, DNV)

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Subsea Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Experience in offshore oil & gas, renewables, or subsea technology (2–5 years preferred)
  • Familiarity with subsea production systems, ROV operations, and dynamic positioning
  • Strong understanding of materials, corrosion, and pressure systems
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, OrcaFlex, FEA tools)
  • Willingness to travel offshore and internationally as required
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
