Position: Supplier Development Engineer Pay Rate: £25.09 per hour Hours: 36.5 hours per week Shifts: 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:00-12:00 Friday (flexible start/finish times)

Location: Fully site based with travel required (up to 50% within Europe, more travel initially for 6 months due to handover process)

Summary We are seeking a Supplier Development Engineer to ensure the quality and compliance of supplied products by assessing supplier quality and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves conducting tests and audits on incoming supplies, developing inspection and evaluation mechanisms, and generating reports to monitor defect rates. You will work closely with suppliers to guide them in reducing defects and improving their manufacturing processes. This position requires strong knowledge of general engineering practices and quality standards, ideally within the automotive sector. The role is predominantly site-based but requires significant travel across Europe, especially during the initial handover period.
