Job Purpose
We are seeking for a Supplier Quality Engineer that can support our projects in planning and execution of quality risk mitigation activities with special focus on welding.
Job Description
The Supplier Quality Engineer coordinates all preventive, corrective, and curative actions related to supplier quality issues, both internally and externally. They ensure the delivery of compliant products by implementing proactive measures, monitoring supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead supplier qualification, manufacturing approval, and overall quality development initiatives. Train and support assigned suppliers on TechnipFMC’s quality processes, standards, and expectations. Monitor and manage supplier performance in terms of quality and delivery, aligned with defined KPIs. Drive continuous improvement by reducing non-conformities and increasing first-pass yield of products and documentation. Conduct and follow up on supplier audits, ensuring timely closure of findings and corrective actions. Coordinate and resolve non-conformances, including disposition, correction, and verification through closure. Analyze quality data from systems (e.g., SAP, NCR) to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally with minimal supervision to align quality goals and ensure process standardization. Support the development and maintenance of quality documentation in line with updated standards and specifications.
