Morson is working with the UK's largest Defence Manufacturer, which is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team.

Preference will be given to candidates with an Electrical or Mechanical background, but applications from other industries will also be considered.

The role offers hybrid working with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Key skills and experience include:

• Strong problem-solving skills using industry-standard tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, and DMAIC (preferred but not essential)
• Extensive experience in handling customer complaints, managing customer/supplier relationships, and acting as the relationship owner between supplier and customer
• Resolving non-conformance reports (NCRs) and managing Corrective Action Requests (CARs) or CAPA/RCCA processes

Skills required:

• Ability to interpret specifications, procedures, and contract requirements, and communicate these effectively to others
• Experience leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using methodologies such as Fishbone, 5 Why, relationship diagrams, and Six Sigma, including evidence gathering and analysis
• Effective action management and verification skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including with customers
