About the Role
Are you a hands-on systems engineer passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, and integrations? Join our globally distributed, remote-first SaaS company and play a pivotal role in shaping the technology that powers our business. You’ll manage and optimize cloud environments, streamline IT processes, and lead strategic initiatives that ensure reliability, scalability, and security for teams across multiple time zones. What You’ll Do

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments (AWS, Azure) for a global SaaS platform.

Manage cloud identity and collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace, Azure, and Slack.

Build, manage, and optimize integrations across cloud-based systems using Workato or similar iPaaS tools.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and scaling.

Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual IT tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and business-critical systems to ensure performance, availability, and security.

Apply security best practices, manage firewalls, enforce access controls, and monitor for vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with developers, security, and software teams to align IT infrastructure with business needs.

Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies as needed.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and Azure in a professional environment.

Strong background in systems engineering, cloud architecture, and IT operations in SaaS or tech companies.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.

Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Azure AD/Okta, and Slack administration.

Familiarity with iPaaS tools like Workato or Zapier to integrate cloud systems.

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and cloud security principles.

Knowledge of Zero Trust security, patch management, endpoint protection, and compliance in multi-region environments.

Strong problem-solving skills, customer-focused mindset, and ability to work in a distributed, remote-first environment.

Preferred certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator/Architect, CompTIA Network+/Security+.
