Job Title: Lead Systems Engineer Location: North England - Lancashire based Clearance Required: UK SC/DV (or willingness to undergo clearance) Contract: Inside IR35 - Rate We're seeking experienced Lead Systems Engineers to help design and deliver cutting-edge mission systems that support national defence. You'll join a specialist team working across the full engineering life-cycle - from concept to qualification - in a highly collaborative environment. Key Areas of Focus We're hiring across several technical domains, including: Electronic Warfare & Sensors Cockpit/HMI & Mission Management Communications, Navigation & Stores Management Cyber Security, EM Interop & On-board Computing Safety, Survivable & Health Management What You'll Do Lead and support systems engineering activities across the life-cycle Develop system architectures, define requirements, and support integration, testing, and certification Collaborate in agile teams and guide junior engineers Produce technical documentation and engage with stakeholders Contribute to planning, estimation, and tasking
