Senior Systems / Infrastructure Engineer - Insurance - London / Remote - Permanent
Our client, a global leader in the insurance industry, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the team and support critical infrastructure and application services - both on prem and Azure cloud.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role and brings strong troubleshooting ability, a proactive mindset, and a deep understanding of Microsoft-based systems and cloud platforms!
You’ll be great for this role if you have:
\n Strong background with Windows Server, IIS, and Azure environments \n
Knowledge and expertise of Kubernetes and containerized infrastructure (experience with D2iQ is a plus) \n
Practical experience with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and GitHub \n
Familiarity with SQL Server and basic query skills; experience with MongoDB or CosmosDB is a plus \n
Experience deploying and maintaining applications in both cloud and on-premise environments \n
Confidence in troubleshooting issues using tools like Dynatrace, Seq, and Event Viewer \n
Understanding of PowerShell, Azure CLI, and infrastructure automation tools \n
Ability to interpret and work with C# application code for deployment or issue resolution \n
Comfortable collaborating using tools such as ServiceNow, Azure DevOps Boards, and Git \n
A collaborative, team-first mindset and willingness to share knowledge and support others \n
The role is offered fully remote, with offices based London and is paying between £85,000 - £95,000. The successful candidate will ideally be able to start within 6 weeks.
