Overview
The Role: Leidos UK & EUROPE are seeking talented Systems Engineers throughout 2025 to support growth within UK programmes. You will have a full understanding of the principles of systems engineering and prior experience as a Systems Engineer on a major programme involving accepting and integrating deliveries from suppliers. You will work with customers and suppliers to execute Systems Engineering activities across the full lifecycle, with specific focus on Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Key Responsibilities
- Working with operational stakeholders, technology suppliers and architects to refine system and sub-system requirements and acceptance criteria
- Allocation of requirements to lower-level components, conducting technical derivation analysis as required
- Modelling of functional and non-functional requirements and scenarios using MBSE and architectural framework approaches
- Modelling operational, business and system designs & behaviours within architectural views
- Managing compliance assessments at system and lower levels
- Maintaining the high-level design and overseeing development of lower-level designs
- Producing detailed engineering artefacts such as High and Low Level Designs; Interface Control Documents (ICDs) / Application Programming Interfaces (APIs); Compliance Reports
- Preparing for and delivering milestone technical reviews and the associated work product deliverables
- Managing the technical backlog and the content of associated releases
Required Skills
- Strong experience with systems modelling tools (e.g. NoMagic Cameo), architectural frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and languages (e.g. SysML)
- Strong knowledge of requirements and user scenario development in both text based and model based approaches
- Success in working within mission-critical systems integration programmes
- Ability to work with a number of stakeholders and suppliers, across organisational boundaries as appropriate
- Experience of developing system behavioural diagrams, modelling interfaces and developing models to encapsulate functional & non-functional requirements and designs
- Demonstrable successes within the Systems Engineering environment
- Excellent customer facing skills, including ability to ingest large volumes of requirements and information to develop clear understanding of customer needs
- Understanding of designing / delivering systems in a public cloud environment

- Clearance for Role SC
- You must be willing to undergo SC or DV clearance dependent upon the security requirements for the role

Pay Range: £47,500.00-£60,900.00. The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Factors include responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, market data, bargaining agreements, or other applicable laws.
