Working within a flexible engineering environment, this role will be part of a team of highly motivated, skilled, and experienced individuals whose primary activities relate to electrical power generation and distribution systems, including:System requirement definition, working with the customer in a team contextSystem design including architectures, performance analysis, and integration aspectsRequirement management and compliance analysisResponsibility for Systems-related technical decisions and providing the Systems interface to the customerParticipation in system test rig design, commissioning, and testingSupport of system testing at the site and customer's facilityPreparation of documentation aimed at system qualification and aircraft certification (including system specifications, interface control documents, system description documents, test specifications, and reports)Support in compiling documentation for Safety of Flight / Certification, and issuing the System Declaration of Design and Performance (DDP)Generation of Project plans and Monthly Execution Plans (MEP), attending daily stand-up meetings to ensure the Programme Engineering budget is metSupporting new business growth by promoting the company's capabilities, investigating opportunities, and preparing responses to Requests for ProposalJob RequirementsA degree in Electrical, Electronic, Aeronautical, Systems, or Control Engineering, or other appropriate professional qualificationA strong interest in systems design and integration, especially related to electrical power generation and distributionWork experience in, and broad understanding of, aircraft or other complex safety-critical systemsExperience with DOORS softwareGood understanding of the System Engineering process and its application throughout the product lifecycleAbility to interpret customer and internal specifications to extract technical requirements, building strong relationships with stakeholdersExperience in system architecture decomposition, V&V planning, requirement definition, validation, implementation, and verificationEvidence of proficiency in written English, demonstrated through certification of a formal English or technical qualification studied in the UK or overseas, or by passing an online SHL English comprehension test during the interviewAdditional InformationAs requiredCompany InformationSafran is an international high-technology group operating in aviation, defense, and space markets, with a core purpose to contribute to a safer, more sustainable world.
