OverviewExpleo is recruiting a Systems Integration Engineer to support our customers with the diagnosis and resolution of software and systems issues during the development phase of an automotive vehicle platform. This role is based in Warwickshire and offered on a 12-month initial contract.ResponsibilitiesLead the investigation and diagnosis of software and systems issues during vehicle development.Evaluate and determine the urgency of issues during initial triage to support effective prioritization.Ensure accurate and complete data capture to support high-quality issue tracking and reporting.Maintain and update key testing assets to support replication and resolution of complex issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure issues are clearly understood and appropriately prioritized.Assist in identifying ownership and accountability for issue resolution across relevant teams.Support testing and validation of complex systems and features to aid in issue resolution.Skills RequiredStrong technical background with proven knowledge of electrical & software engineeringKnowledge of components and software systems including architectures and integrated software solutionsUnderstanding of design principles and the application of quality toolsAble to prioritise workload and lead issue resolution (with support) either individually or as part of a cross-functional teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels within the businessKnowledge of problem-solving, and quality tools.Highly self-motivated and able to act on initiativeEducationEducated to degree level or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering disciplineComplianceTo comply with current legislation, right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates are eligible to work in the UK.
