\n\nJob Title: AD Technical Sales Engineer\nDepartment: Commercial Team\nReports to: Head of Sales / CCO\n\nThe AD Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for integrating system components into anaerobic digestion (AD) sites and acting as the technical link between sales, engineering, and project delivery. The role combines site feasibility assessments, technical documentation, and support throughout the full project lifecycle.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Conduct early-stage site appraisals and assess technical feasibility\n\n * \n\n Produce technical documentation, specifications, and cost estimates\n\n * \n\n Provide technical input to sales and project delivery teams\n\n * \n\n Support installation, commissioning, and integration of AD systems\n\n * \n\n Engage directly with customers, operators, and internal stakeholders\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with industry standards and health & safety requirements\n\n * \n\n Contribute to innovation and optimisation of AD processes\n\nPerson Specification\n\n * \n\n Proven experience working with anaerobic digestion systems and processes\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of the UK AD market and regulatory environment\n\n * \n\n Engineering degree or diploma (essential)\n\n * \n\n Additional qualifications such as WAMITAB or SMSTS (desirable)\n\n * \n\n Experience in system design, installation, and commissioning (desirable)\n\n * \n\n Strong communication and problem-solving skills\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel\n\nRole Details\n\n * \n\n Base location: Initially home-based, moving to a hybrid/office role in central UK after 6–9 months\n\n * \n\n Salary: £45,000–£50,000 plus car/allowance (TBC)
