This role will provide sales support to Customers, within a Sales Team (and the external John Crane Sales & Service personnel who support them).Principal Accountabilities / Key TasksTo select our products and produce high quality, technical/commercial, timely Quotations/Bids (and revisions) for any product using the company quotation tool (C4C).To accurately review/capture Customer Specifications, ensuring all technical, commercial, financial, quality & contractual aspects are identified and select product.Project Bid liaison with our Central Projects Group.The maintenance and update of databases in use within this roleTo resolve in a timely manner any queries related to Customers/JC personnel.To deal professionally with the needs of the Customer, taking full responsibility and accountability to ensure they experience exceptional Customer Service at all times.Secondary Accountabilities / Key TasksPartake in all other Team activities that assist the Customer and the company.Costing Activities as and when required and in agreed timescales.Assist on internal/external Quality audits and procedure manual updates.The main conduit between the Internal/External Sales teams supporting the Customer and our Engineering Dept/Engineers for updates/changes to Product line.QualificationsAn individual who has the knowledge and experience to multi-task at a high technical level, in a professional manner with excellent customer-facing communication skills.PREFERRED CAPABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLSCan read/understand mechanical/process datasheets, P&IDs, OEM equipment drawingsHas an understanding of industry standards/specs and their application eg: API, ASME,Has some form of degree (e.g., BSc, BEng, HND level in some technical discipline)Possesses knowledge/understanding of fluids, pressures, temperatures, viscosities etc.Required AttributesThis customer facing role requires a professional attitude to be adopted at all times.
