Technical Support Engineer - 1st & 2nd Line - Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund
1st and 2nd Line Technical Support Engineer with around 3-4 years of experience sought by a major Global Hedge Fund.
Based in Central London, with four days per week onsite, you will join a small, highly proactive and logical problem-solving team providing 1st and some 2nd line support, automation and engineering for technically savvy business users and peer technology teams. We require someone who enjoys working with users in order to build trust and confidence, with high energy and enthusiasm who enjoys learning in a flat non-bureaucratic environment with state-of-the art platforms.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
You will need:
- Excellent 1st line support skills and experience
- Be a logical problem solver with fantastic communication skills
- High energy, enthusiastic, proactive, curious, driven, and enjoy working through challenges and puzzles.
- Experienced working in a high performance, fast-paced, and demanding environment with a level of autonomy.
- Any 2nd line support experience is highly desirable
- Any experience writing PowerShell scripts and automating repetitive tasks is highly desirable.
