Role
Technical Support Engineer - BAR based in Kendal or Blackburn.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the LVS sales team and clients throughout the enquiry process.
- Engage with clients/consultants to ensure we are in control of the design process and influence plans and specifications.
- Contribute to developing Busbar products and facilitate sales execution.
- View and approve drawings, assist with the design/development and submittals of technical aspects of specifications during the enquiry stage.
- Minimise exposure and risk throughout the sales process by assisting the Busbar sales team with CDEs and other required technical documentation.
- Coordinate key project proposals during the handover process to operations.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with the client, colleagues, and third parties.
- Provide technical direction in product design to drive innovation of Anord Mardix solutions.
- Proactively identify risks and recognise system deficiencies and implement effective technical solutions.
- Review customer requirements, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations that meet both Anord Mardix capabilities and customer specifications.
- Prepare and maintain required documentation.
- Assist with all technical aspects of Busbar enquiries as required.
- Apply the company’s methodology and enforce company standards.
- Ensure effective, timely and appropriate solutions are developed, communicated and implemented to fulfil business requirements, coordinating technical activities to avoid delays during the enquiry stage.
- Promote, develop, and extend the business while conforming to the Company’s directions and regulations.
- Report to the Sales Operations Manager – Busbar.
Experience we are looking for
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a busy, pressurised environment and demonstrate flexibility.
- Ability to interface with Electrical Consultants, Lead Electrical Engineers, and End Users.
- Knowledgeable of Anord Mardix Electrical products, services, and competitors.
- Full UK driving license is mandatory.
- Eligible to work in UK.
