Technical Support Engineer (SC Clearance) Accrington / WFH to £45k
Are you a Microsoft infrastructure Technical Support Engineer with SC Clearance (or the ability to gain it)?
You could be progressing your career at a scaling UK tech consultancy as a key part of the managed services team.
As a Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to a particular public sector client, handling the full spectrum of technical issues from initial contact (Tier 1) through to more complex resolutions (Tier 2). You'll act as the primary contact for the client, providing support via Teams / Google Meet, email and the ticketing system, with ownership through to resolution.
You will also carry out administration on M365, Power Platform, Intune, EntraID, Windows Server, Windows Desktops and Active Directory, maintaining clear and concise documentation, identifying recurring issues and contributing to the team's knowledge base.
Location / WFH:
You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Accrington office twice a week, please note there will also be occasional trips to visit clients in London and the office is likely to move to Preston in the coming months.
About you:
You have experience in a similar Technical Support / EUC / Desktop Support / Service Desk role
You have a strong knowledge of the Microsoft tech stack including Office 365, InTune, EntraID, Power Platform, Azure, Windows Server and Windows Desktop
You have PowerShell scripting skills
You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication and customer service skills
Please note: You must have SC Clearance (or ability to achieve it - i.e. you must be a British citizen with the past 5 years continually based in the UK, due to the nature of the project / client
