Our client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality manufactured products from concept through to production - ensuring client specifications are met on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.ResponsibilitiesPreparing tool drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and calculation methods for CNC cutting and press knives.Interpreting and creating detailed technical drawings.Providing hands-on support to contractors and customers on-site as needed.Supporting the Technical Supervisor with day-to-day operations, including responding to customer technical enquiries of varying complexity.Leading research and development of innovative new products, including reverse engineering, testing, product trials, and chairing development meetings.QualificationsA degree (or equivalent) in Engineering.Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate technical specifications.A proactive approach with the confidence to support clients both in-house and on-site.What’s on offerA competitive salary package.The chance to work on exciting R&D projects.Career growth in a supportive technical environment.Exposure to a variety of industries and engineering challenges.If you're looking for a role where your technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving skills will be valued, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
