Technical Systems Engineer

to join their London-based team. This role is a blend of advanced IT support and CRM-focused project work, offering the opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise with systems improvement and business process optimisation.

Role Overview

As a Technical Systems Engineer, you will provide 2nd/3rd line IT support across a wide range of technologies while also taking ownership of CRM-related projects. You will be responsible for managing integrations, building workflows, and delivering automation improvements that enhance business operations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong IT background who also has proven experience delivering CRM solutions and systems projects.

Key Responsibilities

Act as an escalation point for 2nd/3rd line support issues, resolving complex incidents quickly and effectively. Support and administer Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and virtualisation technologies. Lead CRM-related projects, including implementations, upgrades, and system integrations. Build and maintain CRM workflows, automations, and reporting to improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. Document systems, processes, and project outcomes thoroughly. Work with vendors and third parties to manage and deliver system enhancements.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven background in

2nd/3rd line IT support

within a professional environment. Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure). Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs). Hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms (VMware or Hyper-V). Previous experience delivering

CRM projects

(Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or similar). Skilled in managing CRM integrations, workflow design, and automation. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
