Simulation Engineer (DE369) Are you ready to push the boundaries of motorcycle design and performance? Triumph, a revered name in the motorcycle industry, seeking a skilled and passionate Simulation Engineer industrial placement student to join our team in Hinckley. The Industrial Placement

simulation role is focused on FEA but may also include other simulation such as CFD and 1D analysis. Other tasks may include 3D CAD design work and well as liaising with design teams and internal departments. Duties and Responsibilities : This will develop and test a broad range of skills which will include Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and may also include a variety of subjects such as CFD, 3D CAD design work and technical drawings. Undertake an induction programme and a comprehensive CAD training course (PTC Creo) to give you the skills required for your first projects. FEA training will be provided. Communicate with other design teams as well as other departments within the company such as Purchasing, Quality, Assembly and Manufacturing. We have an IMechE accredited MPDS (Monitored Professional Development Scheme) and Chartered mentors to assist you with your progress on the MPDS. Requirements for role: Studying for an engineering related degree, and looking for a student placement in 2026 /27 Proficient in Microsoft packages Self-motivated and resilient. Flexible and adaptable. Able to take instruction and work under pressure. Excellent communication skills, clear and concise written and verbal skills. Only open to university students who are studying an engineering related degree looking for a student placement for the academic year 2026-2027.
