With expanding demand and a strong pipeline of UK projects, they are looking to grow their commercial engineering team with a junior engineer who’s eager to develop their expertise in tendering and grid-connected infrastructure.Your New RoleAs a Tendering Engineer, you’ll support the preparation of technical bids and proposals for grid-connected infrastructure projects, including battery storage, substations, and other utility-scale systems. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and commercial teams to review client specifications, support system design layouts, and contribute to proposal documentation. You’ll gain exposure to grid compliance considerations, DNO interfaces, and EPC coordination across early-stage project development. This is an ideal stepping stone into large-scale energy project delivery, combining both technical and commercial learning.Your BackgroundYou’ll be degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline, and have at least 1 year of experience supporting bids, tenders, or proposals for infrastructure projects connected to the grid. Whether from a DNO, contractor, EPC, or consultancy background, you’ll have a working understanding of what grid compliance means in practice and how to interpret technical specifications.
