Overview

Saffron QA is the recruitment partner to a successful and expanding software testing consultancy. The organisation has a reputation for providing high calibre software testing services within the financial services sector. This role is offered on a permanent basis with a salary up to £50,000 per annum. Immediate start required.

Location & Start Date

Location: Primarily remote with 1 day per month in the consultancy office in Berkshire and client visits when requested
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Support the consultancy on test automation proof of concepts
• Present and demo solutions to clients
• Design API automation solutions
• Develop CI test pipelines and maintain tools such as MS Azure, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
• Work with version control tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure Repos)
• Establish and uphold coding standards for automation tools and processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the Quality Engineering process, including automation strategies
• Create and maintain code and documentation for project work
• Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress to the Test Manager and stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience designing API automation solutions
• Experience building and maintaining CI pipelines and related tooling
• Experience with version control systems
• Ability to contribute to continuous improvement of Quality Engineering processes
