Job Description:

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be part the Automation Squad covering work across the Tribe. You will be contributing to:

  • Test Automation Transversal services: Create and maintain test automation frameworks, build relevant test automation knowledge and competencies in delivery/testing teams.
  • Oversee, develop, and ensure adherence to industry best practice standards
  • Collaborate with delivery, testing teams & external partners across Euroclear Group
  • Actively promote the adoption of test automation: supporting test automation pilots, sharing successes, improving from retrospective, capturing meaningful measures, upskilling Test Engineers in Automation Frameworks
  • Automation Strategy and vision for the Tribe
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning and creating the Test Automation Frameworks and artefacts
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, priorities, and constraints in term of test automation. Educate them to understand the benefits of test automation and support them to identify opportunities.
  • Support the Tribe with Test Automation to aid the delivery of the Roadmap. This includes managing related investments, benefits, capacity, delivery plan & metrics for automation.
  • Consider continuous improvements and drive innovation.
  • Automation strategy and vision aligning to other wider group initiatives
  • Key Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in coding/scripting: Minimum requirement: UFT, Java, Cucumber, Selenium, RestAssured, C#, Specflow, RestSharp, VBA, Azure DevOps (TFS), ALM, Git, Unix, IBM MQ, SQL, Github CoPilot Nice to have: ReadyAPI, Openshift, Kafka, Artifactory, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Liquibase, Cobol, Python, PowerAutomate, UiPath, Pega
  • Experience of BDD/TDD
  • Proven Experience creating test automation frameworks from scratch
  • Creation of Automation& Tooling Strategies
  • Mastering Testing phases and types
  • Multiple technologies/platforms/environments (Mainframe/Distributed)
  • Proven working experience with multi-locations including Offshore
  • Preferably Finance sector
  • Analytical, problem solving, creative thinker, Result-driven, proactive
  • Education: Software engineering preferred
  • Whilst the key aspect of this role is focused on Test Automation Engineering activities and providing Test Automation transversal services across the Tribe, the successful candidate will be expected to become a T-shaped member of the Test Automation Squad and therefore expect to upskill and develop your talents by collaborating with other Test Automation Engineers.
