Test Engineer
£500 per day (Inside IR35)
Remote | Active SC & NPPV3 Clearance Required
Our client, a leading technology consultancy, is looking for an experienced Test Engineer to deliver high-quality manual and automated testing for secure government and enterprise software projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute test plans and test cases for new and existing software.
Perform manual and automated testing using Ruby and Selenium.
Maintain and improve automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
Use Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality and resolve defects.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and standards.
Requirements
Proven experience in manual and automated testing.
Proficiency in Ruby (or similar) and Selenium WebDriver.
Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Active SC and NPPV3 clearance (Warwickshire).
Desirable
API testing (Postman, Rest-Assured).
Performance or mobile testing experience.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Git.
