Our client a leader in advanced electronics manufacturing, is looking for a skilled Electronics Test Engineer to join their engineering team at their Newport site. If you have hands-on electronics test experience, a drive for problem-solving, and want to work on cutting-edge products in a dynamic environment, this could be the opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain and support production test equipment for functional testing. * Lead test activities for new product introductions (NPI) ensuring smooth handovers from R&D to production. * Write and update test documentation, instructions, and processes. * Diagnose and resolve electronic test issues (PCBs, HLA). * Implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in test procedures and tools. * Provide training and guidance to Test Technicians. * Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met. What We’re Looking For: * HNC (or higher) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or 5+ years’ experience in a similar role. * Strong understanding of electronics and experience with PCB/HLA testing. * Comfortable using test instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analysers, multimeters). * Knowledge of test automation software – LabVIEW / TestStand experience preferred. * Clear communicator and team player with strong documentation skills.
