Tooling Engineer
New Today
Engineering / Manufacturing Location:
Norfolk Hours:
Monday to Friday, Days Salary:
Competitive, dependent on experience
Are you a Tooling Engineer who enjoys turning concepts into real-world solutions? We're looking for someone who can design, develop, and improve jigs, fixtures, and tooling that make production safer, smarter, and more efficient.
This isn't a desk-only CAD job – you'll be on the shop floor, working with engineers and technicians, seeing your designs in action and refining them for maximum impact. Creo experience is essential, but just as important is your ability to solve problems hands-on and understand how tooling supports production.
What You'll Be Doing: Design and develop production tooling, jigs, fixtures, and lifting aids. Review and improve existing tooling for safety, quality, and efficiency. Support prototype builds and production ramp-up activities. Use Creo + FEA for design and validation. Work directly with shop floor teams to implement and refine solutions. What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Tooling Engineer (or similar role). Strong background in tooling, jigs, fixtures, or special-purpose equipment. Proficiency in Creo CAD (essential) and FEA analysis. Solid understanding of manufacturing/production processes. Practical, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work closely with others. Why Join?
Be at the heart of projects that shape how products are built. See your tooling designs directly improve production. Monday to Friday, days only – no shifts. Join a supportive, forward-thinking team where your input counts. How to Apply If you're an experienced Tooling Engineer looking for a role where you can make a visible difference on the shop floor, we'd love to hear from you.
