Training Engineer 12 Months Based: Barrow – Hybrid working Hourly Rate: £42.71 PAYE or £57.58 Umbrella inside IR35 37 Hours per week Overview BAE Systems is seeking a Senior Engineer – Support Engineering (Training Services) to join its engineering function, contributing to the design and delivery of high-quality training solutions in support of next-generation submarines for the UK armed forces and international clients. Skills Strong working knowledge of DSAT (or equivalent) Minimum of 2 years' experience delivering training to MoD personnel Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to produce clear, structured documentation and articulate technical content Familiarity with submarine systems and operations is highly desirable The Job Conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in accordance with the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) Identifying training gaps and producing detailed TNA reports Designing and developing engaging, modern training solutions Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align training with system requirements Reviewing customer feedback to ensure training remains current and effective Supporting both independent and collaborative engineering activities Please note – FULL SC clearance is required for this role If you would like to be considered for this role please don't hesitate to click apply or call Daniel McShane on 0161 694 9191 for more information.
