OverviewJoin to apply for the Undergraduate Software Engineer role at BAE Systems.Length of contract 12 months | Start date (dd Month Year) 22nd June 2026Location Cowes (Isle of Wight) / Great Baddow (Essex)We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements; for this role you will be expected to attend site 3-5 days per week.Salary £24,300 What You’ll Be DoingAs a Software Engineering Undergraduate you will create cutting edge software for our hardware and be involved in the entire lifecycle of a product, from design and development to integration.Producing and maintaining a software design to meet a set of software requirements.Using a software design to produce a deliverable software solution.Testing a software solution to prove that it meets its design aims and requirements.Support a software solution to address reported defects and/or add new functionality.Developing and maintaining a good working knowledge of Maritime Services software processes. QualificationsQualification requirementsAs a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software or Computer related STEM degree.
