Job Title: Vehicle Architecture Lead EngineerLocation: Gaydon, WarwickshireRate: £33.88ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £25.26ph PAYEEmployment Type: Contract (31/03/2026)Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per WeekReference: J36277485:The position is responsible for the engineering integration process for vehicle architectures.Responsibilities include:Design and develop the vehicle technical specifications and attributes across vehicle architectures.Lead and resolve complex multifunctional engineering problems.Be able to balance competing attributes and requirements to define the optimum engineering solution.Analysis of current and future technologies and competitor products to ensure the future competitiveness of our client's products by influencing client's strategies, coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.Problems faced are difficult and often complex.Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Essential:Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and Cross-functional Vehicle Systems.Enthusiasm for vehicles and their development.Strong communication skills and ability to interpret technical information.Good IT literacy eg. ability to create and manage presentations and spreadsheets.Full UK driving licenceDesirable:Previous experience of whole vehicle development and validation.Previous experience of problem solving tools, eg.
