Role Overview: We are seeking a junior Propulsion Efficiency Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. This role is focused on the continuous development and yearly updates of our lineup of vehicles with combustion engines, including ICE, MHEV, and PHEV programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Propulsion Efficiency attribute, with a specific focus on Fuel Economy for complex and specific international markets such as Japan, Gulf States, Mexico, and Brazil. You will play a key role in data analysis, target support, and regulatory compliance, contributing throughout the entire vehicle development cycle.
Key Responsibilities: • Support Lead Engineers in the definition of robust Propulsion Efficiency targets. • Support the delivery of Propulsion Efficiency attribute targets (Fuel Economy, Hybrid Range) for various Model Year and Vehicle Line programmes. • Keep internal tools and documents up to date with the latest attribute metrics. • Analyse test data to generate comprehensive attribute status reports and create meaningful comparisons with historic and competitor data. •Calculate robust declarable metrics in line with regulatory requirements. ...
