Our team focuses on innovation and challenging the current state of our infrastructure technology in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative working environment.What you’ll doManage and optimize a global virtual infrastructure ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance across multiple regionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align virtual infrastructure capabilities with organizational needsConfigure and deploy VMware-based virtualization solutions, including vSphere, ESXi and vCenterPerform and manage VMware upgrades, including vSphere, ESXi and vCenter version upgradesPerform capacity planning and tuning to ensure optimal performanceBuild out VMware environments in new data centers, including configuration, optimization, and validationExecute VMWare hardware refresh and data center migration projects, including planning, execution, and validationAutomate provisioning and management of virtual infrastructure utilizing PowerCLI and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Packer, Terraform, and AnsibleSecure the virtual environment by implementing best practices, including patch management, vulnerability remediation, and access controlDevelop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans using tools such as Zerto and VMware Live RecoveryWhat’s requiredBachelor’s degree with a concentration in technology, computer science, or a related discipline (or commensurate professional experience)10+ years of hands-on experience managing, optimizing and securing a global virtual infrastructure running VMWare technologies, including vSphere, ESXi and vCenterExperience with VMWare upgrades, buildouts, and migrationsExperience with mixed Windows and Linux server environmentsSound understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, firewalls, routing) and knowledge of storage solutions (SAN/NAS) and their integration with VMwareExperience working with virtual desktops running on the VMware hypervisorExperience with PowerCLI and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Packer, Terraform, and AnsibleExperience using VMware Aria Operations or other products for performance monitoring and optimizationExperience with disaster recovery tools such as Zerto and VMWare Live RecoveryAbility to navigate a dynamic environment of changing priorities while maintaining focus on critical deliverablesCommitment to the highest ethical standardsWe take care of our peopleWe invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being.
