With decades of expertise and a reputation for quality, they support healthcare, commercial, and industrial organisations in keeping their water systems safe, compliant, and efficient.This is an exciting opportunity to step into a Team Leader role, managing a team of five engineers while continuing to deliver hands-on water hygiene services on client sites nationwide.The RoleAs a Water Hygiene Engineer – Team Leader (Reef Engineer), you will:Lead a team of 5 engineers, carrying out monthly one-to-one meetings and attending team leader sessions at head office.Oversee water hygiene PPM and remedial work contracts, ensuring KPIs and procedures are achieved.Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing excellent service and ensuring all reporting is completed.Travel to client sites across the UK (door-to-door travel paid).This role combines leadership with practical engineering, offering variety, responsibility, and career progression.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out and supervise water hygiene tasks including:TMV servicing and replacementTank cleaning and inspectionWater sampling (Legionella, Pseudomonas, chemical)Temperature monitoring & outlet flushingPipework modifications and plumbing tasksCopper/silver ionisation system installation and maintenanceRisk assessments and remedial works preparationSite chlorination, expansion vessel and softener servicingUpdate logbooks and internal reporting softwareLiaise with clients and office teams to ensure smooth operations.Minimum requirementsNVQ Level 2 Plumbing qualification.GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (grade C or above).At least 1 year’s experience in healthcare water hygiene or 3 years in other sectors.Full, clean driving licence.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desirable2+ years’ healthcare water hygiene experience.NVQ Level 3 Plumbing.In-depth knowledge of water systems and Legionella bacteria.A proactive approach and desire to grow with an expanding company.What’s on OfferSalary £38,000 – £40,000 (OTE £44,000 with KPI bonuses).Door-to-door paid travel.Company van (with personal use), fuel card, phone, tablet, uniform, and all necessary equipment.Career development, training, and a clear progression path.The chance to lead within a supportive, growing business, working alongside industry experts.Apply now!
