The Role
- We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer (Web3 & Tokenization) with strong expertise in TypeScript, blockchain development, and scalable architectures.
- You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Web3 sports engagement platform, ensuring seamless interactions between fans and athletes through blockchain-based tokenization.

Requirements & Responsibilities
- Backend: Node.js - Express or other frameworks.
- Database: SQL or NoSQL experience required.
- Blockchain Smart Contracts: Solidity (Ethereum preferred), Rust (Solana), or Substrate (Polkadot) - Exposure to multiple chains is a plus.
- Blockchain Interaction: Web3.js, Ethers.js.
- Authentication: 3rd Party providers such as NextAuth.js, Firebase Auth, Okta or others.
- Testing: Unit testing, E2E - Jest, React Testing Library.
- API Development: REST API experience required.
- Blockchain Tools: Hardhat, Foundry or similar
- Backend: Expert in NestJS (with TypeORM, Prisma, or similar, Cors, Rate Limiting and so on preferred)
- Frontend: SSR, Expert in NextJS + React
- Frontend State Management: Redux, MobX, Jotai, Signals, Zustand, or Recoil.
- Frontend Design Libs: Tailwind, MUI, Radix or similar
- Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Storybook Testing, or Playwright.
- Blockchain Tools & Providers: The Graph, Alchemy, Moralis, Infura or similar.
- Infrastructure & DevOps: Vercel (preferred), AWS (preferred but not mandatory), or Cloudflare WAF.
- CI/CD & Monitoring: GitHub Actions (preferred), Docker (bonus), or Sentry (bonus).
- Scalability & Performance: Designing for high-performance, low-latency apps.
- Security: Strong understanding of attack vectors and preventative security measures.
- Database: Experienced to SQL and NoSQL - PostgreSQL preferred and Supabase is a bonus
- Authentication: NextAuth.js (preferred), Firebase Auth, Okta or similar
- API Development: GraphQL, Websockets is a plus.
What You'll Do
- Design & Develop: Build a scalable Web3 application, making key architectural decisions with the CTO.
- Tokenization & Smart Contracts: Develop tokenized assets for athletes, ensuring seamless blockchain interactions using Web3.js/Ethers.js.
- Full-Stack Development: Implement backend logic and frontend UX.
- Optimize Gas Fees & Transactions: Ensure efficient smart contract interactions with low gas costs.
- Security-First Development: Implement robust security measures to mitigate blockchain attack vectors.
- Web3 Onboarding & UX: Improve wallet integrations, authentication, and overall user flow.
- Scalability & Performance: Build a high-performance architecture using SQL (PostgreSQL), and cloud-based scaling solutions.
- Integrate Blockchain Infrastructure: Work with 3rd party providers to optimize blockchain data handling.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience (React, Next.js, Node.js, Web3).
- Strong knowledge of blockchain development (Solidity, Rust, or Substrate).
- Experience designing scalable Web3 solutions with REST APIs and SQL, NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL).
- Understanding of tokenomics & Web3 monetization models.
- Ability to architect and optimize blockchain transactions (low gas fees, high efficiency).
- Experience with Web3 authentication (wallet integrations, NextAuth.js preferred).
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Docker is a plus).
- Proficiency in cybersecurity best practices for blockchain-based applications.
- Passion for Web3 innovation, decentralization, and open-source collaboration.
- Using Designers Tools like Figma for development while ensuring pixel-perfect, mobile first and responsiveness.
Bonus Points
- Experience in sports-tech or Web3 fan engagement platforms.
- Previous work on Web3 social networks, DAOs, or tokenized economies.
- Background in cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, or MEV research.
- Built a Web3 startup or scaled a product from 0→1.
- Built Interactive UI using WebGL, Canvas, PixiJS, or complex animations (Motion UI or similar).
- Integrated Web3 payments (crypto gateways, stablecoins, etc.).
- Low-Level Programming: → Background in C/C++, Go Lang, Rust is a plus.
- Experienced TimescaleDB for handling time-series data.
- Experience in Web3 Payments - integrating crypto payment gateways or Web3 payments.
- Built and maintained private packages (example npm)
- Experienced building SDK(s) and publishing
