Service and repair forklifts to the highest standards.
Preventative Maintenance:
Carry out scheduled checks to keep the fleet safe and efficient.
Equipment Readiness:
Complete PDIs on new stock and prepare machines for hire.
Process Management:
Oversee the off-hire and damage assessment process.
Team Collaboration:
Work with mobile service engineers to resolve technical challenges.
Record Keeping:
Conduct detailed inspections and maintain accurate service documentation.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry training, support the Workshop Manager, mentor team members, and suggest efficiency improvements.
What Were Looking For
Proven background as a forklift technician or workshop engineer.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to precise documentation.
Clear communicator and collaborative team player.
Knowledge of forklift safety standards and compliance.
