Workshop Service Engineer

OverviewHiab is seeking an experienced Workshop Service Engineer for the workshop near Northallerton / Leeming Bar. The role involves maintenance, servicing and repairs on Hiab's range of load handling equipment, including truck mounted forklifts (TMF), truck mounted cranes, forestry and recycling cranes, demountables and skip loaders. Reports to the Lead Service Engineer.ResponsibilitiesRepair and service machinery in Hiab's crane and multilift product range, including third party equipmentComplete service, repair, warranty and inspection jobs daily to a high quality standardBuild rapport and relationships with customers through professional behaviour and a customer-focused mindsetRespond to routine enquiries about technical aspects of products and servicesTroubleshoot, investigate, and resolve standard technical problems to ensure ongoing customer satisfactionDevelop skills and knowledge of the organisation’s products and servicesComply with all legal and company standards, such as code of conduct and H&S practicesWhat You’ll Need To SucceedThe suitable candidate should have demonstrable technical experience in a similar role and possess experience working with relevant mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
