x15 Java/React/AWS/Python Software Engineers- Scaleup - Interview Slots this week – Series A Funded – Fully Remote - Bristol, Wales, Gloucestershire, Somerset, or Manchester - DEFENSE/FINTECH/GOVERMENT

I am urgently seeking x15 Senior Software Engineers for one of the most exciting scaleups in the UK. They are rapidly expanding their tech/development function and looking for the most talented Software Engineers to join them. For these positions you must have worked in the UK for the last 5 years and hold a British passport and be able to get SC or DV level clearance.

As a Software Engineer, you'll be working hands-on within an Agile environment to refine, plan and deliver features and epics. You'll be working with a monolith that's starting the transition to a service-oriented architecture as the client scales its customer base over the next couple of years, and scale our engineering squads to deliver more great features faster. You're happy to get stuck in across the Tech stack, but will likely specialise in one or two areas. You'll need to dive deep into the Tech platform and business. A natural curiosity to really understand how things work and why they do what they do, along with a real eye for detail, is essential. You'll use that knowledge to move fast, be creative and achieve great things.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on software development in an Agile environment, refining, planning and delivering features and epics.
• Work with a monolith transitioning to a service-oriented architecture as the company scales.
• Collaborate across squads, potentially specialising in one or two areas.
• Dive deep into the tech platform and business to understand how and why things work.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java, React, AWS, and optionally Python.
• Senior/lead experience with ability to work across the stack.
• UK work history in last 5 years, British passport, able to obtain SC or DV clearance.
• Strong knowledge of Software Design Patterns, TDD and DDD.

• Basic salary - £55,000 - £85,000
