The Role

We are looking for a technically confident and proactive 2nd Line Engineer to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will deliver 1st and 2nd line support to clients both remotely and on-site, manage escalated service desk tickets, and collaborate closely with the wider team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and configuring Windows devices, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, networking equipment, and firewalls, as well as performing system health checks, managing backups, and maintaining accurate internal documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a fast-paced MSP environment, working on a variety of client projects and providing high-quality technical support.

Your Profile

Required skills -

  • 2+ years’ experience in IT support (MSP/ISP)
  • Experience working for an MSP or ISP, possessing a solid understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange/Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, and networking protocols
  • Proficient with Remote Desktop, Windows/Mac support
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills for escalated IT issues
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team to resolve complex issues
  • Motivated to learn and implement new technologies and solutions
  • Proactive, adaptable, and open to change
  • Troubleshooting hardware and peripherals (e.g., printers, monitors)
  • Escalation handling and documenting technical solutions for recurring issues
  • Hold a full driving license with access to your own vehicle for site visits

  • Competitive salary of up to £37,500.00 per annum
