2nd/3rd Line Engineer - Cambridge / Hybrid — Oscar Associates (UK) Limited is hiring for a 2nd/3rd Line Engineer. You will be the go-to person for technical issues, working across environments to keep systems running smoothly and clients happy. You\'ll support a broad mix of colleagues, providing remote and occasional on-site support across desktop, server, networking, and cloud platforms. Every day is different—from troubleshooting complex issues to assisting with project rollouts and system upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Handle escalations and 2nd line support tickets through the service desk
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows, Office 365, Azure, networks, and cloud platforms
• Assist with project work such as migrations, deployments, and upgrades
• Maintain detailed documentation and ensure SLA targets are met
• Deliver excellent service with a proactive and consultative approach

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Azure, M365)
• Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
• Experience in a customer-facing role where communication is key

Employment details

Location: Cambridge / Hybrid

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
