3rd Line Engineer – Teesside

Salary: £35 - 42k plus benefits • Hybrid

Location: Teesside

What you’ll do

• Work as a 2nd/3rd line engineer in a managed services environment with end-to-end involvement including design, deployment, and ongoing service.
• Support customers and lead or contribute to project work; develop ideas and products to expand the service offering.
• Operate in a Microsoft-focused environment with a strong service provider background; engage in customer-facing activities.
• Apply a broad IT skill set (Windows Desktop and Server, Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), AD, Azure, Networking) and stay current with new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end IT support within an MSP, including design and deployment activities.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and contribute to service expansion ideas.
• Maintain strong Microsoft bias and general IT proficiency across relevant technologies.
• Collaborate in a hybrid work setting with some on-site presence as part of a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong MSP background with hands-on experience in Windows Desktop/Server, VMware/Hyper-V, AD, Azure, and Networking.
• Proven ability to work in a customer-facing role and contribute beyond pure support tasks.
• Open to progression and growth within the company, with an appetite for technology and product offerings.
