3rd Line Network Engineer - London - New! (REFGJ38)

A leading IT Managed Service provider in central London who provide solutions across Cloud, Connectivity, Cyber Security & Communications, are looking for an experienced 3rd Line Network Engineer to join them.

You will come with strong L2/L3 Routing & Switching skills and hands-on expertise with Next-Gen Firewalls (Fortinet / Palo Alto).

You’ll handle complex escalations, deliver network changes, and support customer infrastructure across a diverse tech stack.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and resolve 3rd line support tickets
  • Design and implement network changes
  • Support project delivery and mentor 2nd line engineers
  • Document solutions and perform DR/failover testing

Qualifications

Key skills required:

  • Advanced L2/L3 networking (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP)
  • Fortinet and/or Palo Alto firewall configuration
  • Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Juniper
  • Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis
  • CCNP or equivalent level knowledge
  • Familiarity with cloud (Azure/AWS) and network automation (Python/Ansible)
