Location Central London (5 days on site). Excellent opportunity to join a world-leading IT MSP and trusted partner to the U.K. MOD. As a 3rd Line Network Support Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and supporting secure enterprise network environments, while also contributing to patching, upgrades, monitoring, and wider infrastructure initiatives. This role goes beyond day-to-day support; you’ll be working closely with a dedicated team to ensure robust network operations, resolve escalations, and take part in project delivery within a mission-critical environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing and supporting secure network infrastructure environments
• Patch management and applying updates across Juniper devices
• Monitoring networks using SolarWinds (or similar tools)
• Supporting upgrades, maintenance, and configuration changes
• Working within escalation protocols to resolve priority incidents and issues

What Were Looking For

• 4+ years experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise/secure environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Juniper devices, switching, routing, and protocols
• Juniper certifications (e.g. JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP) highly desirable
• Experience with network patching, upgrades, and monitoring
• Familiarity with SolarWinds or equivalent monitoring tools
• Knowledge of Citrix ADC (Netscaler) and Junos Space (advantageous)
• Strong troubleshooting, escalation handling, and communication skills
• Please Note: Given the sector, this role requires DV clearance to start. Candidates must be sole British citizens and eligible to undertake and maintain high-level security clearance.
