The Role

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting clients across global trading environments. Acting as a key point of contact, you'll configure systems, troubleshoot issues, and proactively monitor performance to ensure seamless operations. Over time, you'll gain in-depth expertise in electronic trading infrastructure and the tools used by some of the world's most influential financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure applications to meet customer requirements.

• Work with Unix to configure low-latency servers.

• Troubleshoot issues with application installations and network problems.

• Perform health checks and proactively monitor systems.

• Support client requirements through technical problem-solving and system configuration.

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will bring technical proficiency in areas such as:

• Unix/Linux system administration and tuning.

• Networking (Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP) and tools like tcpdump/Wireshark.

• Editing/configuring files (XML, JSON, ENV).

• Scripting

• Understanding of HTTP protocols and log analysis.

• Software testing methodologies and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
