Job Description
The Agile Delivery Manager / Scrum Lead will be responsible for driving end-to-end product delivery, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes aligned with the product roadmap while fostering agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement within teams.
Key Responsibilities
Drive End-to-End Product Delivery
Oversee delivery of product increments from planning to release.
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of initiatives, epics, and features in alignment with the product roadmap.
Facilitate, govern, and guide planning sessions and workshops for product discovery or initiation.
Support product teams in prioritization and estimation of product features using techniques such as RICE and KANO.
Manage dependencies across squads to ensure smooth and timely progress on product deliverables.
Facilitate Release Planning and Management
Collaborate with Product Owners and chapter leads to plan and execute product releases.
Support pre- and post-release activities, including L2 support alignment.
Strengthen process agility and optimize tools to reduce time to market and enable faster deployments to production.
Ensure frequent releases for continuous customer feedback and iteration.
Maintain quality standards by tracking key defect metrics such as leakage and defect aging.
Facilitate Risk Management
Identify and mitigate risks impacting product delivery proactively.
Address impediments and escalate issues to stakeholders as required.
Metrics and Reporting
Track and report on key metrics and OKRs including velocity, lead time, cycle time, and predictability.
Use data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas.
Collaborate with Product Owners to review product performance metrics such as customer satisfaction, adoption, and product KPIs.
Ensure alignment of product development efforts with desired business outcomes.
Create dashboards and reports to provide clear visibility into product progress for stakeholders and leadership.
Coach on Agile Processes
Guide teams in adopting Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models suited to the product context.
Coach cross-functional teams and stakeholders to embed Agile mindsets that drive adaptability, autonomy, and innovation.
Act as a catalyst for organizational change, co-creating improved ways of working.
Ensure Agile ceremonies (daily scrums, retrospectives, planning sessions) are effective and value-driven.
Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and sprint reviews, fostering a culture of “inspect and adapt” and “fail fast” learning.
Support Team Enablement
Foster a psychologically safe environment for open communication and ownership.
Promote accountability, collaboration, and self-organization within teams.
Encourage innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.
Partner with Product Owners
Ensure delivery aligns with product vision and business strategy.
Define and track OKRs for successful completion.
Participate in backlog prioritization to maximize business value and strategic impact.
Identify stakeholders and manage expectations actively.
