Social network you want to login/join with:Location: Bovington, Dorset, BH20Salary: Competitive + BenefitsJob Type: Full-time permanentStart Date: ASAP upon successful completion of clearance documentationCompany DescriptionBJF Group is a leading multi-discipline Main Contractor based across the UK, specialising in delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors - priding ourselves of our reputation for excellence and attention to detail.Within our Facilities Management division, the South West Core team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of planned minor works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client's sites.If you have ambitions of playing a key part in driving our business forwards, then we want you to join us at an exciting time of development and growth to realise your full potential.PositionAs part of our continued growth, our South West Core facilities management team are looking to appoint an experienced and professional Air Con Engineer to use their working knowledge of air cooling systems to complete a range of planned maintenance works in line with our contract delivery SLA's - predominantly focusing on checking and replacing belts, fans and filters on air handling unites as part of a wider hard-services FM team.Further responsibilities of the role include:Carry out maintenance of common AC units in domestic and commercial buildingsServicing all AC units at prestigious commercial dwellings and responding to breakdowns - returning the equipment to fully operational conditionCompleting small works and refurbs of AC cooling equipmentChemical cleaning of DX split systemsEnsure all work is carried out and completed to a high standard, in a competent manner and to leave the site of works in a clean and tidy conditionHealth, Safety and Quality Considerations:To act in the best interests of BJF when on site and dealing with ClientsTo always work in a safe manner and to a high-standard, in line with best working practicesUnderstand your responsibility for the health, safety and wellbeing of your team and the wider group, whilst promoting a positive health and safety culture throughoutPromote and live BJF TEAMS valuesRequirementsTo be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate all of the following:NVQ level 2 in ACPrevious experience in a similar roleDesirable Qualifications & Experience:Recognised F Gas qualificationA strong commercial and industrial back groundBasic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and WordPrevious experience of planned preventative maintenance and reactive works #J-18808-Ljbffr
