The worlds leading FM provider are looking for an air Conditioning / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work on a large site in Derby As a company they can offer a clear of progression, further training and up-skilling opportunities as well as some of the best benefits in the business. Job specific responsibilities: Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Carrying out scheduled servicing of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, split systems, VRV/VRF systems, chillers, and air handling units. Cleaning and replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting ductwork, and checking airflow. ?

Reactive Maintenance & Repairs: ? Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs on Air Conditioning and mechanical equipment to restore functionality. ? Replacing or repairing faulty compressors, fans, condensers, sensors, and controls. ?

System Testing and Performance Checks: ? Monitoring system performance and efficiency. ? Checking for leaks, unusual noises, and fluctuations in temperature or pressure. ?

Installation Support : ? Assisting with or carrying out the installation of new Air conditioning systems, including pipework, units, and control systems. ?

Compliance and Safety Checks: ? Ensuring systems are compliant with health & safety regulations (e.g., F-Gas regulations). ? Completing risk assessments and method statements where necessary.
