About the roleReporting to the Mechanical Supervisor you will play a key role within the team. You will work as part of the team with responsibility for the completion of daily monitoring, control, reactive and pre-planned maintenance to building management control systems and other monitoring systems and associated assets and plant.Your responsibilities will be:Completion of installations, reactive and remedial repairs as directed by the Helpdesk to either, Fgas systems to include Chillers, Air Conditioning systems, Ventilation systems and associated controls plant etc. or any required minor repairs dependent on relevant experience.Provide exceptional maintenance services to our high profile Clients and go the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standards in all areas of your performance.Use your own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out to ensure our client is kept up to date at all times.Carry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards, ensuring that you comply with current regulations and contract specifications.Reporting and recording procedures, including operation and maintenance logs and control measures to minimise risks.Utilise PDAs or electronic devices to complete works.Liaise closely with our Helpdesk to ensure efficient response to all works either working on your own or as part of a team.Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.Deal with a variety of Clients on a daily basis. You will represent the Company and be courteous and professional in your dealings with them at all times.Provide a call out response across all contracts.About youYou must have:Level 2 or 3 NVQ Fgas systems qualification as a minimumHold a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in an HVAC maintenance role, particularly in relation to installation, planned maintenance, reactive and remedial maintenance.Demonstrate a general wide knowledge of building systems in relation to installation, maintenance, reactive & remedial tasks encompassing, Fgas & HVAC plant & controls tasks.Current Full UK Driver’s LicenseCSCS CardYou may also have:IOSH – Working safelyElectrical competence or qualificationIT Skills – in the use of PDA’sAsbestos awareness trainingH&S qualificationAbout UsEstablished in 1998 Lancer Scott offers renowned high-quality construction projects and facilities management services.
