OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across residential, commercial, and/or industrial sites. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including split units, VRV/VRF systems, chillers, cold rooms, and commercial refrigeration equipment.Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.Diagnose faults, troubleshoot, and implement effective solutions promptly.Ensure all works comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.Provide technical support and advice to clients on system performance and efficiency.Accurately complete service reports, job sheets, and maintain proper records.Collaborate with other engineers and contractors when required.Participate in on-call rota for emergency breakdowns (if applicable).QualificationsNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent).F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential).Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and fault-finding techniques.Previous experience in installing and servicing a variety of HVAC systems.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.Full, clean driving license (if role requires travel).Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
