Location: West Midlands & Midlands\nSalary: £40,000 - £50,000 + (based on experience) + Overtime + Company Van + Benefits\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Air Conditioning and Refrigeration PPM Engineer to join our growing team. This role is primarily focused on Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) works, with a strong emphasis on refrigeration systems across a variety of commercial and industrial sites within the West Midlands and broader Midlands region.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Carry out scheduled PPM servicing and inspections on a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.\n\n * \n\n Diagnose, identify, and rectify any faults found during routine maintenance.\n\n * \n\n Ensure all maintenance is carried out in accordance with industry standards, health & safety regulations, and company procedures.\n\n * \n\n Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.\n\n * \n\n Liaise with customers and site contacts to ensure clear communication of work carried out and any recommendations.\n\nKey Equipment Worked On May Include:\n\n * \n\n Commercial refrigeration systems (cold rooms, display fridges, freezers)\n\n * \n\n Split A/C units and VRV/VRF systems\n\n * \n\n Walk-in chillers and freezer rooms\n\nSkills & Experience Required:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience in refrigeration engineering, ideally within commercial or retail environments\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of PPM practices and refrigeration systems\n\n * \n\n FGAS Category 1 qualified (essential)\n\n * \n\n NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence\n\n * \n\n Good communication and customer service skills\n\n * \n\n Ability to work independently and manage own workload\n\n * \n\n Right to work in the UK\n\nBenefits:\n\n * \n\n Company vehicle + fuel card\n\n * \n\n Overtime and on-call allowances\n\n * \n\n Tools and uniform provided\n\n * \n\n 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays\n\n * \n\n Pension scheme\n\n * \n\n Ongoing training and development opportunities
