Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer\n Location: Cambridge\n Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum\n Job Type: Full-time, Permanent\n\nARC is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer to join their growing team, covering both commercial and residential projects across Cambridge and the surrounding areas.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys working on a variety of projects, from installations through to servicing, diagnostics, and repair. The role offers stability, progression, and the chance to join a supportive, established business.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nInstall new air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF and split units, to industry standards.\nCarry out routine maintenance, servicing, and fault-finding on a range of systems.\nDiagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues within commercial and domestic AC systems.\nOrder and fit replacement parts when required.\nTest systems in line with current F-Gas requirements and record accurate results.\nWork independently to identify and resolve issues while upholding company standards and safety procedures.\nDeliver excellent customer service, providing professional advice and support where needed.\nMaintain accurate records of work using the company’s operating system.\nSkills & Qualifications:\n\nF-Gas qualification (C&G 2079).\nNVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.\nStrong working knowledge of current F-Gas regulations.\nExperience in installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and fault-finding.\nAbility to work under own initiative with strong problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication skills.\nFull, clean UK driving licence.\nBenefits:\n\nSalary of £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience.\nCompany van, phone, and uniform provided.\n23 days holiday (plus bank holidays).\nCompany events.\nLong-term, permanent position with opportunities to develop.\nIf you are an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for your next career move with a reputable employer, we’d love to hear from you.\n\n To apply, please send your CV to Laura Curtis at
